" THE MONKEY'S PAW"

What interested me was that we read The Monkeys paw in class , but never paid attention to the short story and decided to read it.

 The plot of the short story was when the the old couple got the Monkey's Paw

 The theme of the short story is not to be stubborn. The old couple got warned of the consequences but still wished for 200 pounds and their son died. 

 The story made me think not to get old artifacts and wish for things.

 I would recommend the short story, because it is simple to understand the short story

Why Is losing good or bad?

     Is losing in a game or in a sport bad? Losing to me means that you have hope. When you lose you can learn from your mistakes. Learning from your mistakes can make you better in a sport, or in a game.      Losing can show you that you don't always win. So next time you practice harder and see your mistakes, and admit your mistakes so you can improve. An example of a team that never gave up is Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cleveland Cavaliers came back from a 3 to 1 lead. Golden State had to win one more game to become champions, but Cleveland Cavaliers never gave up and they won three games in a row and became champion's. The Cleveland Cavaliers didn't give up they kept on trying saw their mistakes and won.         Losing can be bad also. Losing can bring negatively to a team or to a person. How did the book inspire/create thoughts/feelings      After reading the novel "Fahrenheit 451" I got inspired, because "Fahrenheit 451" made me realize how important books are, and how we don't take advantage of  all the books we have, and books are  free to read.  Throughout the chapters of "Fahrenheit 451" a lot of thoughts came to me for example, why Montag began to read books even knowing the consequences of his home being burned down and him. Lastly "Fahrenheit 451" made me feel good, because Montag overcame his obstacles and did what he thought was good for himself and was happy where he ended up at.      Through out my three years of high school I never payed much attention to books.
